2026 Trip
Our fourth trip from New York City to South Carolina commenced, once again, with visits to friends, new and old, in Washington DC, so we could learn — beyond the headlines and from actual professionals — about how our federal government operates and career paths into public service…especially apt since our visit coincided with the nation’s 250th anniversary. Our students came from these metropolitan area schools:
Cranford High School (NJ)
Poly Prep Country Day School (Brooklyn, NY)
Bronxville H.S. (NY)
After visiting our nation’s capital, we took Amtrak to Charleston, With our rental van we explored the city and then drove to McCormick and the South Carolina Governor’s School for Agriculture, followed by a day in the state capital of Columbia and finishing with two days in the upstate city of Greenville.
